Atlas HD is an automated and modular jacketed reactor system from Syrris. Designed for chemists and chemical engineers, Atlas HD offers supreme flexibility. Built for ultimate ease of use, Atlas HD is easily put together and used by novice users. Vessels are simply inserted and rotated. The lid is fitted and a torque limited, quick clamp system ensures a tight connection without risk of breaking the glassware. Oil pipes are quickly attached to the vessel without tools and can accommodate operating temperatures from 250 °C down to -90 °C. The oil drain button easily drains oils back into the circulator and oil pipes can then be safely attached the oil pipe tidy. Offering speeds of up to 800 rpm, the Scorpion overhead stirrer motor is easily clicked into place with no awkward scaffolding to deal with. The quick release system disconnects the stirrer motor, ready to be stowed away on the frame. The sprung loaded bottom outlet valve ensures leak-free operation and easy emptying of vessels. One of Atlas HD’s crowning features is the built-in touchscreen in the base, offering ultimate control and flexibility over experimental parameters such as temperature and stirring speed, and quick configuration and automation of circulators, stirrers, probes and Atlas pumps. The screen enables automated process data capture to USB Drives and real-time graphic display of data, while PC software control provides ultimate third-party device integration and automation.
